Thoughts from Tom
The work we do helps others to make meaningful decisions which aligns their finances with their core values.
An important aspect of our work is guidance. From having someone to talk with, to getting organized, and making decisions, our work revolves around helping guide our clients to making informed decisions by providing clarity and insight.
Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family and hope to eventually own a house on a lake where we can enjoy swimming and kayaking.
I’ve yet to bowl a perfect game, but I did score a 287 in 2019!
My bucket list includes visiting the countries where my ancestors came from – Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
An important quote to me is a passage from author Brian Freeman, “…everything in life came down to memories. The good. The bad. The real. The imagined. Put them all together, and that was the person you were.”
Tom has always admired business owners and appreciates that the most important part of being in business for yourself is the relationships you build and nurture with your clients and customers. Tom has particularly enjoyed building his business by working with people from all walks of life, age groups, and geographic locations.
Tom regularly volunteers and sponsors events with several organizations, such as the Purdue Club of Chicago, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and the Naperville Jaycees. Throughout his time with the Jaycees, Tom served on the board for several years as a Director, as well as Internal Vice President, External Vice President, and Treasurer.
As a financial planner and employee benefits specialist, Tom enjoys seeing the work he does with his clients come to fruition. Helping young families and busy professionals get organized and have clearly defined financial objectives is very rewarding. While supporting business owners, Tom strives to maintain employee retention and improve overall morale within their company.
